World Britain

So England hopped in their boats and set sail exploring the world looking for places to set up colonies and whatnot. Two places that were colonized by Great Britain were what is now Canada and the United States as most of us all know. I'm wondering to myself how would things be today if there was no American Revolution, if Canada remained completely dependent on Great Britain, if the power was maintained and control never lost? I wanna say that the thought of Great Britain being THE world power, having all of North America in addition to their little island would be kind of interesting. Maybe. I don't know how it would have turned out obviously, but the way I imagine it is taking the force and power of England and the US and combining them into one massive super power that just dominates. Of course it probably wouldn't have worked out that way would it? I don't think it would work that way for two reasons, I think our initial rebellion against England put into motion the way we have become. Without that spark and fight for our own independence, I think the people in this country would have evolved much differently. The other reason I don't see it happening is if England kept the power and had that much control what would have stopped them from wanting to continue to expand, and if they had that combined power like in my little imagination what would stop them? They could rule the entire planet. World Britain! I don't think the rest of the world would have stood for it long though. I would like to think everyone would collectively gather to quell World Britain's quest to rule the world. Today though I think that sort of thing would end in a world destroying war. I don't know, I wonder sometimes if I think it's possible for one nation or power to take control of the entire world, and if so how long would it last? I tend to think it's not possible. This whole post feels very unorganized and not well thought out to me. I'm not pleased with it, but I'm going to post it anyway.
